Sono Just for friends is an alcoholic drink made of fermented cooked grape must, aged for four years in tonneau.
An unexpected taste, born almost by chance and then studied for long years.
It’s long time since my father Vittorio, tasting our barriques in Savignano discovered it.
A cooked grape must that has developed a strong personality, decisive, captivating, to sip in a glass.
Our friends were the first to sip it and, for long time, the only ones to receive it as a gift for Christmas, thus the name “Just for friends”
SONO (in Italian meaning “I am”), to complete the name, is added later when finally “the born by chance” turns into a product.
The gift of a friend, Corrado Assenza of the superb Caffè Sicilia in Noto, SONO defines a product that now “exists” – it is!
SONO, assonant to “sound” that envelops you in its velvety taste and plays its captivating music in your mouth.
